Rosy Maple Moths Little Ambassador club

Mission: To keep our park protected, to learn about local nature, and to build community. 

Where: Enterprise South Nature Park - various locations for All Ages Hike, Storybook Trail for Third Tuesdays.

When: Twice a month:

First Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A.M. EST (7 year olds and under club)

Third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A.M. EST (All Ages Kids Hike)

Who: First Tuesday hike is for all kids. Third Tuesday club is for 7 years and younger.

Do I have to sign up? Nope! But you will need to sign up for our newsletter (see below) to get the hike location. We are a casual group, and similar to forest schools, the kids are encouraged to experience learner-led exploration. We facilitate a nature based environment, but we aren’t a classroom, and we don’t micro manage outdoor play.

The Rosy Maple Moths Little Ambassadors are kids who live or play in Hamilton County and want to see their parkland stay protected. Their work (play) is focused on advocacy, learning about local ecosystems, building community, and most importantly, having fun at Enterprise South Nature Park. The Rosy Maple Moths Little Ambassadors are the youngest defenders of the park, and definitely the cutest. Named after the Rosy Maple Moth found in Enterprise South Nature Park, this group will meet twice monthly on the First Tuesday of the month and on the third Tuesday of every month at 10:00 A. M. EST

Each session will include storytime, an outdoor activity, and a nature walk.

Our meetings for the rest of the year:

ALL NEW All Ages Hike meetings for the rest of the year on the FIRST Tuesday on the month:

  • July 7th

  • August 4th

  • September 1st

  • October 5th

  • November 2nd

  • December - No Hike

Under 7 year olds meetings for the rest of the year on the THIRD Tuesday of the month:

  • June 16th

  • July 21st

  • August 18th

  • September 15th

  • October 20th

  • November 17th

  • December - NO Meet Up

Parents need to stay, we may get dirty, and please dress appropriately for the weather. No rain date. Follow our Instagram or Facebook for cancellation information. We will have waivers for each child to sign before the program.
