Rosy Maple Moths Little Ambassador club
Mission: To keep our park protected, to learn about local nature, and to build community.
Where: Enterprise South Nature Park - Storybook Trailhead in the Visitor's Center Parking Lot. If we are meeting somewhere different, we’ll let you know!
When: Third Tuesday of each month at 10:00 A.M.
Who: This is a multi-age/grade level club, but we suggest it for 7 years old and under (so older kids don’t get bored).
Do I have to sign up? Nope! We are a casual group, and similar to forest schools, the kids are encouraged to experience learner-led exploration. We facilitate a nature based environment, but we aren’t a classroom, and we don’t micro manage outdoor play.
More info for Grown-ups:
The Rosy Maple Moths Little Ambassadors are kids who live or play in Hamilton County and want to see their parkland stay protected. Their work (play) is focused on advocacy, learning about local ecosystems, building community, and most importantly, having fun at Enterprise South Nature Park. The Rosy Maple Moths Little Ambassadors are the youngest defenders of the park, and definitely the cutest. Named after the Rosy Maple Moth found in Enterprise South Nature Park, this group will meet monthly on the third Tuesday of every month at 10:00 AM.
Each session will include storytime, an outdoor activity, and a nature walk.
Our meetings for the rest of the year:
