Our current action priority is ensuring that the 19-acre property co-purchased by the City/County from the Boy Scouts of America is rezoned from I-H “Heavy Industrial” to OS “Open Space” for recreation and greenspace. This parcel is landlocked by Enterprise South Nature Park, meaning any development on the parcel (other than for approved recreational uses) would require access through/disturbance of the parkland and amendments to its permanent deed restrictions.
